In all but the most unusual cases, SPEED orders are shipped via Federal Express Courier and SPEED System pays the shipping costs. Delivery time to most developed countries is seldom more than 3 - 5 working days and orders are most often delivered directly to the orthodontic office without “customs” interaction. In many countries, there is no separate “Duty” charged by the local government on SPEED orders crossing the border. In most instances only a Valued Added Tax (VAT) charge applies. This charge is usually similar to the VAT charged by the country on purchased consumer items. Such VAT charges are either incorporated directly into the original SPEED invoice or billed separately. Transfer Patients: If you have a patient who is moving and would like to know the name of a clinician using the SPEED Bracket in a particular city, please call our office or your SPEED Representative. Transferring patients appreciate being sent to an orthodontist already using the appliance. If the orthodontist to whom you are referring the patient is not familiar with the SPEED System, we will, upon request, send a no-charge instruction manual. Dropped your brackets? We’ll sort them for you - FOR FREE! Every SPEED attachment features a color code identification mark. This along with other unique characteristics enables clinicians to differentiate attachments.
