Clinical Applications

Traction with TAD’s
Combine Trillium Hooks with Temporary Anchorage Devices in situations when Absolute Anchorage is required.

Trillium’s tight grip on the archwire ensures that corrective forces applied will be fully delivered to the dentition.

Traction with TAD’s
Severe midline correction with TAD’s and Trillium Hooks.

Traction is applied from the TAD on the patient’s right to an archwire hook on the upper first molar (not shown). On the patient’s left, traction is applied from the Trillium Hook distal to the canine to a TAD placed between the upper first and second molars.

A Trillium Hook is also placed distal to the canine. An elastic is placed from the Trillium Hook to the lower second molar for space consolidation and as an esthetic and hygienic alternative to powerchain.
